    Corsair TX850M went bang

Here's the label if that helps to identify it: I can't see any obvious signs of damage inside looking in through the grills, although this coil looks a bit loose. It also looks extremely close to the side of the case, it's hard to see in the picture but if it isn't actually touching there's...

    Corsair TX850M went bang

Thanks, would 750W be more than enough or is it worth spending a little more to get the 850W equivalent to give a bit more headroom?

    Corsair TX850M went bang

Last night my 8 month old Corsair TX850M made a loud pop, tripped the power in my house and is now dead. Fortunately, it doesn't seem to have taken anything else into the afterlife with it. Ironically, it was the first PSU in over 20 years of building PCs that I've spent more than about £30 on...

Tbh, the whole concept of split body part days seems fundamentally flawed to me. Especially when it comes to shoulders because they get hit by so many different lifts. Full body all the way for me :D

All you need is a barbell, a bench and a squat rack.

Mutated_Hair over at the myprotein forums was a similar build to you and he's put on 2 stone of lean mass in about 7 months following Stronglifts 5x5. If you have a well structured routine and eat properly, you could easily gain a stone or more in your first year.

Also, Arnold didn't actually lose the title; he'd moved on to his film carreer and didn't compete in the five intervening years.

Seated cable row - correct form?

No, I'm not that daft ;) I was replying to the opening post.

Seated cable row - correct form?

I'd do it with my back still. You wouldn't move your back like that while doing a barbell bent over row.

    Newcastle United... Just LOL

It doesn't help that we have an obsession with playing our right footed wingers on the left and our left footed wingers on the right (a hangover from Allardyce I think). If we'd had Duff and Gutierrez firing in crosses with their natural feet on saturday we would've been far more dangerous.

    Newcastle United... Just LOL

If we'd stuck with Allardyce I honestly believe we would have been relegated a season earlier. The fixture computer churned out the most ridiculously lopsided season for us and we were heading for a nightmarish set of fixtures when Allardyce was sacked. We would’ve had the same run of losses...

    Barton - 5.8m 50-60k p.w Rozenhal - 3m 40-50k p.w Geremi - Free 50-60k p.w Cacapa - Free 40-50k p.w Enrique - 6m 40-50k p.w Smith - 6m 50-60k p.w I don't really need to say any more about how **** Fat Sam was. Ashley's biggest mistake was backing Allardyce, pretty much all of the highly paid...

Not true, time off can be very beneficial and is suggested by most of the proven training programs like Starting Strength, Bill Starr, Stronglifts, HST etc... Hypertrophy is triggered by progressive load, if you’re not increasing weight/tempo/reps week-on-week size and strength gains will...

Do you train solidly or take a week or two off every couple of months? Also, if you're looking for strength gains, have you tried a 3 day full body routine? Although, tbh those lifts are impressive for your weight, any progress on them will probably come in dribs and drabs.

The way I see it is: The idea behind a push/pull/legs routine is to hammer separate muscle groups each workout then give them a week to recover. Even though your arms will get worked by compound lifts it’s useful, if you’ve got anything left in them, to ‘finish them off’ with an isolation at...

    Beginners Guide To The Championship

No chance are there 15 on 50k+ I'd say 8 at most with another 12 on around 30k In fact, here's my educated guess in detail: 60k+ Martins - regrettably, he'll leave for £8m+ Owen - out of contract, good riddance! Viduka - out of contract, no great loss. Duff - He'll probably stay...

It's because of leverage and the distance you're moving the weight. With a squat you're moving the weight a lot further with less natural leverage.

E.coli for one. It is most common in minced beef and it can kill you or leave you with permanent health problems. It's fine to eat rare steak because harmful bacteria isn't naturally present in beef. But the surface is a perfect breading ground for it. Searing the outside will kill any bacteria...

    Help me get to 12stone

Three big meals are much easier to fit around work than eating a smaller meal every three hours. If I had the free time I’d eat smaller meals more often. But, like most people, I don’t. Heh. 3 & 1/2 meals then, and I snack out of boredom more than hunger ;)
