Well, at this rate i've gone from a 280GTX + 6GB ram to a 8600GT + 2GB ram..... what an awesome "upgrade"!

I've just about got it to boot with a mates old 8600GT, which doesn't need a power connector. Will flash the BIOS and see what happens.

For those that want to use it as a presentation tool rather than as a play toy, i use:
RemotePad - turn the screen into a remote trackpad
Wooji Presentation Remote - present Keynote presentations
VLC Remote - remotely browse your computer and play videos
VNC Lite - remote desktop
Blooming handy...
I'm planning similar with my new 13", but will prob do the RAM before the SSD, that way they might be a little cheaper..... it's looking like 2010 will be the year of the SSD....
can't fault Apple's fantastic build quality, had my MBP 13.3" for almost a week and i am still in awe of it, i'm no apple fanboy but it is one nice piece of kit.
minimized apps should show up on the dock to the far right, next to the trash can. Also if you right click the program to the left of the dock you should be able to select any open incidence of it.
