Well I updated to 3.5.7 on my son's Christmas present... Seems to be a mistake. Thing won't stop crashing now. Tried changing the VRAM to 4GB, resetting GPU cache and putting it into travel mode. Will try reimaging later tonight but pretty annoying having to RMA his main present.
Anyone have...
My SD card stopped working within their 28 day return policy fortunately. The guy just swapped it for a new one didn't even check it. However not looking forward to when it breaks again out of their return period.
I very rarely ran my Ally in turbo mode. Spent most of it's time at 15w or 20w.

We've been using the central heating a lot less than we usually would this time of year too.
You need to ask?
I almost feel bad for people who haven't managed to buy a card yet. Wait for all the increases due to shipping... then Brexit. Going to make the old RRP look like a fantasy.
Sounds like same crashes I was having. Try loading the game from the load menu instead of continue.
Works most of the time - still sometimes crashes though. Bizzarely if you load in it's fine.
You'll also most likely crash when you die and resume from last save.
Bought it on GOG. Tried disabling overlay etc. I had a weird shimmering effect on the edges of objects on the 1 of my last loads. This meant I had to reload the game and BAM it crashes again.
Finally get into the game and die due to the 'overheating' stuff go to reload my check point and it...
I'm only crashing when loading saved games / last check points after dying. If I get into game its absolutely fine. Sometimes can get around it by loading a previous save and then loading the latest save, but sometimes not.
Everytime I find an hour or two between the wife, work and kids to actually play this game it is guaranteed to crash.
Yes I can work around the resume last checkpoint crashes by loading a later save but I just can't be bothered so just end up turning my PC off. Really putting me off playing it...
Riding around on a motorbike at 400mph, sorry 394mph definitely seems like a safe way to get you and your family around. Shame they didn't have you on the original panel when deciding if this project was worthwhile or not.
Wondering if it's some kind of NVIDIA ploy. Game will basically be unplayable on AMD cards with any form of ray-tracing enabled. Amplified by the fact AMD have no DLSS alternative at the moment.
