I was playing last night, and tried that same tactic on No Mercy. All was going well, until the Tank got into the staircase with us! Run and shoot, run and shoot... worked for us. Not very pretty, but we got there in the end!

The Cradle level from Thief Deadly Shadow. It totally played with my emotions. Fear, horror, anger, and finally relief. The back story of that level, the look and how you interacted with the level itself, and the sound engineering - from the digetic music score, to the screams of the ghostly...

It's sad that we have to wait for the modding community to sort such things out... but I guess that's another massive discussion! I liked the idea of it being set in Africa... and that's about it.

Is the Far Cry franchise already dead with this latest offering?!?!?! Personally, I'd think twice before buying one again.

They have very good eyesight in Africa - they can see everything!!!! As a short-sighted person, I feel a little upset that their healthcare system is so much better at correcting such disabilities! Oh well, off to Specsavers I go!

Yep... that's the one. Was looking forward to this, but after a few hours of play I'm ready to move on! Left 4 Dead and Fallout 3 here I come! Out of interest, is there a mod or patch that addresses the respawn issue?
