I don't know a single Newcastle fan who thought Newcastle would do anything other than struggle to survive at the start of the season. Most that I know know still just want to stay up even now.

Considering Spurs seem to think they're in the title race...I doubt that.

Newcastle have been a massive club though. I know there are rules and stuff as to how far you are allowed to look back...but three league championships and six FA Cup final appearances in seven years is an indication of a massive club IMO.
