So, I played Horizon Zero Dawn and loved it. (More than I thought I would)
How does this compare to the first game. Is the story any good? Does it actually introduce much that is different or is it just a recycle of the first game?
I think there is already a way to tip devs. There are some games on Steam etc where you can buy deluxe edition upgrades with soundtracks, books, ringtones and assorted fluff. Those are essentially a way to tip devs.
I've got every mainline Assassin's Creed game from 1 to Origins. I got all of them for free and never managed to get into any of them for more than 1hr.
I decided to install Origins the other day and I am now 30hrs in and really enjoying it.
Although I don't really care about the real world...
I actually played Crayon Physics Deluxe years ago and it is amazing. I kind of had that in mind when I posted this thread. Not for the same type of game - but something that gets me in the same mood. :)
I've got some stressful things going on in my life right now and I'm looking for some games that people can recommend which are relaxing. Just things that can be played in as chilled out a way as possible.
Anyone got any recommendations?
A CRT that did 1600x1200 was pretty high end. I had a 21" CRT for a while that did 1600x1200 and it was impossible to use it for too long, 1280x1024 was much more pleasant on the eyes.
It isn't about 24fps being traditional and it isn't about it being "natural". In fact it is the complete opposite. The human eye can see much more than 24fps and increasing the fps makes the footage seem MORE natural. That is the problem, making it more natural damages the sense of immersion...
Honestly, unless you are running your own Plex server at home, there isn't a major need to get a Shield Pro. I've got one myself and love it, but as a device to stream web content it is overkill.
Yes, that is why it emerged as the initial standard. It isn't however why we still use it. We don't use film stock any longer for example. I've looked at what multiple directors have said on this subject over the years since HFR has been available to them. The Hobbit came out originally as the...
Yes, and it actually has a purpose. A large part of why 24fps has been retained for cinema is the dreamy escapist feel it bestows on a film. You immediately can tell it isn't "real" and as such ones mind is better able to escape into the story.
This is why HFR in cinema flopped so hard.
I think the Germany job would stop him getting bored and then give him the chance to recharge his batteries a bit. Maybe a few years there and one last club job afterwards.
OK, this is a bit of a wild card. Mourinho has just been sacked by Roma. His stock is certainly lower than it used to be.
He did talk about managing Palace in the past. Could we see him at Selhurst Park as a complete left field appointment? Would he actually be able to do a good job with a...
