I was in exactly the same situation as you. After being cancelled for a month I was offered around 60% off by e-mail - nothing during the cancellation period got close to the email offer.

Surely the fact that Superdumper and MissChief both go out of their way to offer discount codes and money-saving advice to people they don't directly know implies that they aren't purely interested in Sky's bottom line?

Interesting - thanks. Thought they'd tell me where to go at that point, with 6 months left to go! Somewhat risky for me as I literally only have Sky for Sports. In your opinion, what sort of deal would I be looking at after 12 months? I currently pay £20 for 'original with Sports' and £6 for HD...

My concern with this is that, correct me if I'm wrong, your deal will be for 12 months but the added Sky Q contract will be for 18 months. This means you'll be tied into Sky for 6 months at full price. I'd do this myself if I could, but don't think it's possible to get an 18 month deal with Sky+HD!

Same issue with my Pixel after updating. Calls are okay (to an extent...an existing call won't transfer to in-car speakers like it used to on 7), but music is completely broken. Car display just shows 'unknown artist' and won't play back. Very annoying!

Yeah, it was enough to make me duck as I was driving! It's also marked the top layer of the glass where it hit the screen :( Difficult to say except there's obviously some damage to the top layer of the paint where it seems to have dug in / rolled.
