Leaving a rented apartment - cleanliness level?

Yep, definitely. And it is :) Stuff like this doesn't bother me, but that's one of the reasons why I was asking. Everyone defines "clean" differently I think.

Don't say that, you'll give them ideas!

Leaving a rented apartment - cleanliness level?

It was clean when I moved in. Not sure if it was professional or not though. I can't say I checked the blinds for dust... I guess I'll go back and clean these things and see what they say after that. 10mins vs hours of legal nonsense.

Leaving a rented apartment - cleanliness level?

Hi, I've just left a rented apartment and I've been told it's too dirty, so the deposit is being withheld for the moment. I've spent two full days cleaning it, but they keep coming back with new things to make a fuss about. The latest we've had is: - Bathroom blind too dusty - Table too...

    Hayfever - Thread

This year has been quit odd for me - for the last 20 years I've used cetirizine, which worked mostly OK. This year it just makes me drowsy! Switched over to loratadine though and it seems to help just as much, with no drowsiness. Not heard of this fexofenadine.. I may have to look into this :)

    **XBOX ONE** Official Thread

I honestly don't care what games are revealed at this point. I was pretty much sold when the new Kinect was shown.

    Windows 8 Metro App Thread

I know there's OneNote for all your note taking needs on Metro, but I've been using NotesTab as it syncs up with my Mac and iPhone as well. Pretty useful to have. Does cost for syncing though!

    Staples's 'Kashmir' Managers Chair

I went to a Staples the other week and saw that this chair had gone up massively in price. Quite annoying as I remembered this thread from last year when they were so cheap! I had a little sit on it and while it was nice, it was a little bit awkward. I have quite broad shoulders, and the side...

Is it a USB mouse? If so, tried a different port? My mouse doesn't work in particular ports until Windows has booted up.

I think May? Though I may be mistaken. Definitely a late review though either way... You're right that LEDs have fewer things to think about. I think LED has become more of a mainstream/layman type of TV - works out the box, don't need to tweak it or anything (although I hear calibrating to get...

    3DTV Fad over?

I disagree. Avatar had the best use of 3D I've seen in any film. I despise the tacky 3D you see that just throws images into your face. It looks awful and it makes my head hurt. Avatar did none of that - instead it used depth of field to great effect (I think), which made it look all the more...

    Another PANASONIC TX-P42ST50B Thread ....

Bear in mind that there's a difference with burn in and image retention. The first is permanent. The second is not. If you're playing a game, watching the news, or any other picture that has a static image, there's a chance that image retention will happen. That just leaves a bit of the image...

    Another PANASONIC TX-P42ST50B Thread ....

I've heard good things about the ST50. It's meant to have the best picture for its price range. I checked it out in a shop the other day and it looks good. It's not quite as bright as LEDs, but it really does hold its own. It was a sunny day when I went as well. I'm thinking of getting one myself.

Help deciding on new home cinema kit (starter)

I've seen a G30B for <£450. I might go with that then, if it's really good. It's half the price of the ST50, and I can't imagine the ST50 is twice as good?! I'll mostly be watching films on it - music will be much more rare.

Help deciding on new home cinema kit (starter)

I was looking at the 42" ST50 and it's about £850. From what I've heard, that's basically the one to get - it's just a little expensive, and I don't know if the quality of the TV is £300-better than the others that are around £500.
