I’ve been running a Sony 55A1 OLED since 2017, so have that covered.
Yep grabbed that one, played the first on PC so if it’s more of the same it’ll be entertaining.
Have 8 games from game pass and I’ve picked up assassins creed Valhalla as well. That should do me for a while. Forza Horizons 4...
Thanks. Just signed up for game pass, and forza horizon 4 looks like a perfect game to start with.
Are there any action type games or anything else that is worth looking at? I already have RDR2, CyberPunk, and GTA5 on PC, but I’m tempted to grab GTA5 again for the Xbox. As my PC gaming has been...
Hi chaps,
So my last console was a PS2, and for the last decade I’ve been gaming solely on PC, however today I picked myself up an XBox Series X. I don’t intend for it to replace my PC entirely, it’ll be for casual sofa gaming.
As I’ve been out of the loop on consoles for so long are there...
Finally received my MSI Ventus 3X OC yesterday, managed to secure one that popped up in stock at another very large online retailer. And with the added bonus of no VAT, so quite a bit cheaper than if I’d kept my OCUK order in place for the Strix OC, which still wouldn’t have arrived.
Haven’t...
Just sent the cancellation request off for my Strix OC order. It’s looking highly unlikely it’ll be delivered while I’m in the UK, as that’s only until the end of October. And given the lack of comms from OCUK I’ll be ordering from another retailer, VAT free, once the card are widely in stock...
I want the FE, but the Strix is my second choice. Not 100% decided I'll even try and get one today though, the timing today sucks for me so I may well just leave it a couple of weeks and then try.
It would have to be NOTAM’d if it was jammed over a wide area. More common would be local jamming in immediate proximity. Same goes for disabling the unencrypted (civil) GPS network over an area. As long as GPS issues are notified air traffic can operate without it, although certain routes might...
The only GPS jamming briefed for the UK at the moment is in the Hebrides ranges. So if you’re in Scotland you could be seeing the effects, otherwise it’ll just be poor due to atmospherics/buildings.
Things like this tend to happen because people don’t understand either the laws of the country or the very different culture and mindset. Yes it’s laws and government are less liberal than most of Europe, but most of the people aren’t all that different. More often than not there is more to...
Indeed I purchased from the US store. As I no longer live in the UK I'd hoped I could get out of/claim back the VAT. turned out is was so difficult and time consuming it's not worth bothering with.
I had the same thing a couple of days ago for mine as well. All the tracking numbers were as they should be, paid it and the parcel is now showing as customs charges paid and progressing on with delivery.
Had an invoice from Fedex after my Schiit modi and Magni were delivered last week as well...
0%. I either cycle using my MTB which I’d have anyway, and the weekend riding causes exponentially more wear and tear than 3km of road riding, or if I’m feeling lazy I take the company provided transport.
I went for the full pack with the 2 base stations and controllers. I chose it have my HMD delivered as soon as it’s available am then th rest to follow.
I’ll be back in the UK in March for a couple of weeks, so annoyingly if the April delivery estimate holds true I’ll have to wait until the...
Manged to locate a D7200 and a Sigma 105mm 2.8 Macro in another toolkit, which will do the job (hopefully). Not quite as close (as magnified) as we need, but I can't see another way of doing things apart from getting a digital microscope or similar. Getting sharp images of individual wire cores...
