I have the same xfx 5870 with an i5 750. Plays everything no probs very cool and quiet, can recommend.

Bought the rig as a complete system so asume the standard paste was used. Stonking performance gain from this chip over the amd 939 4000+ it replaced, very impressed. Thanks for the reassurance on the temps, the old 4000+ never went much over 55deg when flat out so had niggling concerns.

I have a new rig with an i5 750 running at 4ghz under an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 in an Antec 902 case. After a couple of hours of BFBC2 I checked the temps with core temp, it showed a peak of mid 60's and after a few minutes it settled around the mid 40's. Is this Ok for this chip...

G11 does have a wrist pad and personally I think its a fine keyboard for the £25 I paid for it.

Exactly, we have the bloomin $ sign on our layout but they remove the £ sign completely from theirs.........and its our language in the first place.....yankers....rant over.......

Now sorted regional settings were English (USA), changed to English (UK). Cheers gents.

The keys are positioned as normal and the symbols are where you would expect them, but when the key is pressed a different symbol appears. I will try altering the settings as suggested above when I get home tonight.

Also noticed that the pound sign is a #, can't find the pound sign on any key. Is this a USA / UK layout issue? and how do I change it?

Bought a Logitech G11 keyboard from this site, but the " key and the @ key are switched and the hash key is \, any ideas why anyone? latest win 7 drivers installed.

Having got an Ati card for the first time (5870) and never used CCC before, does the fan speed adjust automatically when temps rise or do I need to set it manually? Used rivatuner with my 8800gt.

Foolish?? Is £1050 a lot for the above system 1 including win 7 64, P&P and a wireless network card?? Having looked at many pre built systems from many different suppliers (system 2 above for example) it seemed very reasonable..... Before people comment on building my own and saving a few...

Went for the first one, should be a hefty uplift from my 6 year old AMD 939 system. Thanks for the lively discussion and comments, helped me to decide. Did consider the second with a 5850 but the price rose sharply out of my set limit. Looking forward to enjoying BFBC2 and crysis on high+...

I expected so, but, If I change an overclocked I3 to an I5 would that also be overclocked or stock?

Is there a limit on what can be upgraded / altered on the specs of Overclockers pre built systems? For example I like the Xenomorph system but would like to swap the 5770 GC for a 5850 GC, the 400w PS for a 650w PS and the I3 530 for a I5 750. Is this reasonable or does it constitute to much change?

Titan Goliath The picture of the Tian Goliath shows a Antec 300 case but the default case in the spec is an Antec VSK 2000 with the 300 as an upgrade option. Is the pic or description correct???? Thanks
