I'm optimistic it won't. My understanding is that the Rimworld DLC if not installed, doesn't impact your game in anyway and it's truly vanilla. Whereas Stellaris forces the DLC upon your game, you just can't access it (while the AI can)

Got a PowerA Gamecube style controller for the Switch. The slight movement of buttons is playing havok with my muscle memory on Smash Brother :P. Feels a lot more solid and suitable for the game though so I'll persevere.
