I loved Capture one but not free, and still needed photoshop. went photoshop and Lightroom sub and bought the Adp panel for photoshop, it’s amazing! darktable is good but liked a bit complicated. gimp is free but a bit clunky compared to photoshop.

I would get a second hand body and lens from Wex Photographic or Park Cameras, massive savings if you get an XT2 or XT3 used.

I’ve got the Fuji system abs it’s fantastic, the settings are so customisable and Fuji regularly improves the camera firmware, worth its weight in gold
