When are you going fully electric?

A pretty crappy dumb BP Chargemaster job and ancient Rolec. I wouldn't recommend either. Andersen seems to review well. Zappi if you have solar PV.

    The Tesla Thread

I do, and it's an excellent car! Very happy, despite its flaws. Wouldn't have an ICE ever again, and the next EV will have to be pretty special to beat it.

When are you going fully electric?

I find that people that mention the build quality tend not to be actual Tesla drivers. I also think that because of this rep, new owners do tend to go full ham on looking for faults. I previously never would have thought to look at panel gaps, yet alone measure them. Yet this is exactly what...

When are you going fully electric?

This weekend was the first weekend I have had to queue for a Supercharger, I hope it's not a sign of things to come, rather Keele being small and rubbish :(

When are you going fully electric?

Don't go near BP - it's way over-priced and they only work half the time. I have the Apps ready and set up for Geniepoint, Instavolt and PodPoint (but usually use Tesla if I can). I think Shell is supposed to be OK as well, but I've never used. I have had to use, but try and avoid, Electric...

When are you going fully electric?

I have known a couple of first-gen Leaf owners, and they are far past their prime now. So I wouldn't buy second-hand. If it's one of the new generation, they don't review especially well versus their peers, check WhatCar/Auto Express etc.

When are you going fully electric?

Going for a big drive in it??

When are you going fully electric?

Some interesting points, and I partly agree. But not on everything. In my experience (as EV owner for 4 years and latterly driving a change to a fleet of hundreds of co car drivers), I can tell you that people are not rational about car ranges. Even if they only take lil' Timmy to the shops...

When are you going fully electric?

You could! I doubt the disparity of value would be quite so great though. Perhaps a better comparison is a Tesla Model 3 Performance versus a Taycan - somewhere around 60% of the /mile value, yet same performance? In my mind the Porsche is vastly over-priced. Oh, good catch, n1. I will...

When are you going fully electric?

Based on that, the ID3 is an incredible bargain, and the Taycan is an incredible waste of money!

When are you going fully electric?

Really interesting breakdown of real-world ranges from WhatCar I thought about this, and want you really want to know is what value is the car, based on its real-world capability? Et voila - £/mile range for the WhatCar review, based on MSRP of most basic version at that spec: Mustang Mach -e...

When are you going fully electric?

This should help. My missus is scared of my M3P's size (lol!), so is looking at ID3. You could get the 77kWh version (the Tour)?

When are you going fully electric?

It's obviously personal preference, but not how I feel - in 'coast' you need to move your foot and depress a pedal to change speed. In one-pedal, your foot is always on or slightly off the accelerator, just at the level you need for the speed you are doing. In any event, I would think people...

When are you going fully electric?

Because it's a lot easier, and way more intuitive to press down on one pedal for 'go faster', and let off for 'slow down'. Driving an ICE or BEV where I have to actually brake now feels weird and primitive.

Thanks for sharing! I had no idea that Mollies existed, and 30p is pretty good!

    New World MMO

Good lord I found this dull. They don't seem to have moved on too far from 'collect 10 pig's ears from pigs, where the drop rate is 0.5 ears/pig'. I feel like a 2021 MMO should be more. From what I've seen, the friends that like it love the PvP angle, whereas I hate that PvP an MMO.

    Company of Heroes 3

Yes - when HDR was enabled in Windows settings. It doesn't turn it off, and it's clearly not enabled in the engine

When are you going fully electric?

Don't forget company car Company car drivers get an absolute bargain, assuming the lease companies can get their (rather conservative, profit-driven) heads around better residuals, fewer breakdowns and far less frequent servicing. The BIK and Class 1A National Insurance savings make Teslas...

When are you going fully electric?

5.3m/kWh is excellent! You must have an incredibly gentle right foot!
