I never tried for a 3070FE, I was still after a 3060Ti well into 2021 until I realised I was wasting my time. The FE launches I tried were 3060Ti, past the capture and out of stock when I got to the site. 3080Ti, got one in my basket, but I didnt actually want one. Too much money and wont fit in...
That is where I got my 3070 last week for £650. No scripts, no bot. It was doing that funny thing the site has been doing since last year for gfx cards of in stock/out of stock everytime you refresh but the buttons never working. This time it actually let me buy one and pay. I didnt believe it...
I’m finally out of this rat race! One more free customer slot for others to get a card.
I have a GTX970 and I upgraded to a 1440p monitor near the end of 2020 in expectation of picking up a 3000 series card. I got the monitor OK…
For the last 8 months or so I have been on a futile quest to get...
Im in a similar situation to Senpai. I need a specific kind of card because of size limitations in my case and I would prefer an exhaust style or a shorter card with an open back plate.
Because of this, Ive been trying since Nov 2020 to get a card, starting with the 3060Ti FE. Along the way...
Still no 3070Ti FE appearing on the famous auction site, that I can see. So number of FEs sold yesterday must have been in single digits, if at all?
Only one 3070Ti sold on the famous auction site yesterday and it was an EVGA one, no FE ones (if im doing the search right)
Is anyone still...
Normal as in being ripped off by overpriced GPUs, but at least they are in stock. Like the 20 series?
We are all being brainwashed into thinking these MSRPs are great prices, but even at those prices these cards cost way more than they should. If you said to me a few years back that I would...
Nearly £600 for the cheapest model. I just cant push myself to pay that much for the equivalent of a 2060 super that cost way less than that before the 30 series launched.
If they are delaying the FE drop on purpose, I dont see the point. All this does is make genuine gamers drop out of trying and just leave the bots to monitor the pages for when they do actually drop.
At least knowing when they drop gives humans a fair crack at trying to snatch at least some of...
They mentioned this on a video I watched yesterday. Apparently AMD drop stock on Nvidia launch days on purpose. Happens a lot, I wasnt aware.
I noticed there were a lot of AMD cards in stock this morning.
Not economical to make a new cooler for the 3070Ti, cant use the 3070 one. So use the 3080 one which means most will be as thick as a 3080 as a result. Are there dual slot 3080s apart from the FE? They are all 2.5+ ?
I have the feeling the FE cooler is bare minimum.
They run much hotter than the standard 3070, most AIBs will use 3080 cooling or something close to it. The 3070Ti FE uses upgraded cooling compared to the standard 3070
I saw the same thing. I’ve only taken part in a couple of the launch days before for FE (3060Ti and 3080Ti) and even though I didn’t get either, I did both times see a check availability button on Nvidia and was able to get to the sales pages. For the 3070Ti launch all I saw was an Out Of Stock...
