Detailing complete! The paintwork was is pretty good condition for the age and mileage, some minor swirls and polish marks (looks like someone less talented tried to polish it at some point in it's life) but quite a lot of bonded contaminants. Car was dropped off at a local detailing who did...

What have you done to your car today?

£600, that includes the upgrades for the GTechniq bits and will have the car for 3 days. Also important to notice that this place is in Cambridge (which is expensive) and he has a very impressive client list, I could have done it for less but I think a lot of it comes down to the skill and...

What have you done to your car today?

Dropped it off with a local detailer for enhancement and protection. Clay, two stage polish, Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light, Gtechniq EXO on the paintwork and Gtechniq C5 for the wheels. Looking forward to getting it back already!

    BMW and M Power Owners

No, I've heard countless people say it's a must have option, but having test driven a car with it, I wasn't that impressed. Comfort was only only marginally softer than non adaptive and sport was too harsh for road use

From what Jonny has said it's more X3/Q5 territory. I'm not an SUV fan at all, but I must say it looks bloomin' marvellous. Tech is impressive and it looks to have a very high quality fit and finish

After just over 1000 miles in the M135i and I'm very impressed so far, ride is a little harsher at low speeds than my previous (VW Scirocco) but everything else is better! I'm still getting used to the handling characteristics, my only previous RWD high(ish) power being a 200SX I owned 7+ years...

    Moving to Cambridgeshire?

Repeating what others have said really, Huntingdon isn't that great but does have the benefit of the railway station and local amenities, some of the smaller towns/villages are nice (St Ives, Godmanchester, Hemmingfords) and some are utterly awful (Ramsey, Swavesey) St Neots has a good mix, but...

    Car Selling Cliches

Had this with one of the neighbors, mentioned he was getting a new car in a couple of weeks, when asked he replied "AMG C Class", to which I replied "V6 or V8", to which he replied "C220d"

Bought an old BMW M3, filled with regret...

Was that sarcasm? Check out the drivers lower bolster and headrest for stretch marks and loose leather, looks like a pretty poor job to me

    Spec me an autobahn!

From Dunkirk head towards the Ardennes. Get to Revin and follow the road through Montherme/Les Hautes-Rivières/Vresse-sur-Semois/Mogimont and then join up with the E411/E25 and follow through Luxembourg to Trier, that's about 7 hours of driving. Spend the night here, it's a beautiful city...

I've noticed that one on AT for a few months surprises me it hasn't sold which instantly sets alarm bells going! The steering wheel looks very well used for 30k, and the stop/start button looks to have fingerprint powder on it?

Thankfully BMW saw fit to provide a life time supply of Sudocrem with the car, which is useful for soothing burns ;)

Trying to find one in the spec I wanted for the price I wanted to pay was proving challenging, I decided colour was the one area I could compromise on and it's actually starting to grow on me now
