if your going to overclock the hell out of it or do video editing (get the 6600) thats cool otherwise your pc is good enough - by the way how much you want for your X2. :p

6300 or 6400 both are decent and overclock well, if you feel rich go for the 6400, the 6300 can be clocked easy enough. You have to note this board only recommends that you use upto PC5400 667 memory. Other then that they stable rock solid boards........

around 2weeks ago and do yourself a favour mate sell your cpu - board & ram individually you will get more for it.

Put it this way. They can sell upto £170 on a famous auction site as they are hard to get hold of. Edit: I recently sold my 4800 for £250.

Any x2 4400+ or 4800+ are going being priced high, I have seen a 4800 go for £350 retail due to lack of stock, I have had 2 x 4400+, 2 x 4600 & 1 x 4800+ their all quality cpu's but who would spend £350 on a processor where something can be bought £100 cheaper and kkkiiiiiiillllllllllllllll...

How much difference is there in performance in 945, P965, 975, RD600 & 680i chipsets running a e6600 & 2gb memory ripping dvd's, encoding av & playing games ??????????????

whats wrong with the 975 chipsets mobos on vista ???? even my asrock intel 945 chipset copes very well with Vista ..........
