    Waterproof running jacket recommendations

Also have the OMM Kamleika. Its about as waterproof and breathable as your going to get. You will still get sweaty thought it can't remove at the same rate you produce sweat, especially when you pick up the pace. The material is good as its not too russely There is a cheaper model that is...

Amazon Prime sucks massive donkey balls

I cancelled Prime 6 months ago and have not missed it. My new years resolution is not use Amazon for anything. I'm doing fine so far, I don't buy a lot anyway but when I do need something I can generally get it on eBay with free delivery for a very similar price. The only thing I might struggle...

    First Cruise - Norwegian Fjords

I went on Iona in late summer 2022, wasn't sure if I'd like it but it was really good. The ship is so big and quiet most the time you didn't know you were moving I would bother with the drinks package, you have to drink loads to make it worth it, and drinks are well priced anyway. Some of the...

    Your bad driving encounters

Strange one the other night. I was driving down the road (30mph in 30 limit) and a car behind me suddenly accelerates and brakes heavily a few inches from the back of my car and gives a blast of the horn, after 5 seconds or so they back off to a normal following distance. Initially I just...

I've had the Titan for years. It's a beast. The chisel is brilliant for smashing up concrete when removing fence posts.

    Appliance care plans

I have it on my fridge freezer, which is 8 years old now. It's £4 a month. AO were really good when the control board broke awhile back they where out and it was fixed within 24hours of me reporting it. I think it of it now as I'm kind of hiring a fridge as if it breaks really badly they'll get...

    London pollution & ULEZ

I was wondering to myself if a vehicle tax/ved based on weight would work. Light cars generally have small engines, large cars generally big engines. Smalls EV's would be cheap but big heavy SUV EV's expensive. You could have a depreciating scale as well so that the older a car gets the cheaper...

Fringe Festival Funniest Joke - can you beat it?

The winning joke doesn't even make sense, as the Zoo keeper would be a human not a big cat. But, no I can't come up with anything better.
