Yep, it's physically complete, but it doesn't work. Seems I've messed up the gearing on one of the modules so some rework is required :-( I got 2 packs of balls from pv-productions

I went for the mine factory. I started dismantling the Bucket Wheel Excavator last night and I'd forgotten how much of a chore Technic Lego is to take apart, my fingers are sore this morning.

How have I not seen this before? That is properly epic! I’ve never really liked the Bucket Wheel Excavator, bit of an eye sore on the shelf. I think I’m going to pull the trigger on this

Yep, that about sums it up

Not anymore, not since Lego re-released the UCS Falcon

I’ll discount the AT-AT because it’s not official, although it is by far the most impressive model in the room. 1. I have both UCS Falcon’s, but the original is best. 2. Tower Bridge, boring build but very large and impressive model when finished. 3. Old Fishing Shack, incredible amount of...

Done! It was easier than expected

Short of glueing, not really. Lego is designed to come apart and I never expected it to survive a house move. I took measures to minimise the amount of rebuilding and to an extent it worked, but it was never going to be hassle free

I moved house a few weeks ago, rebuilt most of my collection, now it’s time for my nemesis, words cannot describe how much I’m not looking forward to it.

    Well done that man

All packed and ready to go, well almost, I still need to wrap the Falcon’s and SSD, they’re coming with me in my car. Can you guess which model I dropped on the floor? (Clue: it’s in pieces in the plastic crate)

It looks so simple to to build when it’s like that, but my God it isn’t

I really wish this thing was as easy to put back together as it is to take apart

Wrapping has been an absolute ball ache, but it’ll pay dividends when it comes to rebuilding. It’s a smaller house but I’ll find somewhere to display it, I’ll most likely sacrifice the dinning room.

Oops, wasn’t supposed to go in upside down, kinda dropped it. But, still intact as far as I’m aware

So much for the UCS Snow Speeder being fragile, it survived being manhandled while getting wrapped in cling film

It’s the relaunch, I never liked it enough to pay for a used original. No Death Star because I didn’t like the open sided play set versions. I will have a UCS Death Star II one day though

Thanks guys. I moved it all 2 years ago, it was a ball ache and I’m really not looking forward to it again. Last time I just packed them in boxes, inevitably bits fell off and it was a real nightmare trying to figure out what bits went with what model. I still have bits left over, I never could...
