    FahMon 2.3.99.1 Released

I'll see what I can do. I'm in the process of tracking down an elusive bug at the moment, so I may hold off until I can get that done.

    FahMon 2.3.99.1 Released

The OS X version is a PITA to get a working compile of hence the lack of a current build. 2.4.0 should have a functional OS X release. At the moment there is some problem causing a crash on exit, however the monitoring side does work.

    FahMon 2.3.99.1 Released

%APPDATA%\FahMon This was done mainly to cope with Vista's UAC breaking when FahMon tried to write to %PROGRAM FILES% If you start FahMon with `--local` or `-l` it will revert back to the old behaviour.

    Fahmon on Ubuntu 8.10

 "Yeah" :p It should be wxGTK2.8 too, yes. FahMon won't compile with anything below 2.8

    Fahmon on Ubuntu 8.10

"sudo make install" has always been the correct procedure. This is the only time in the whole procedure that sudo is required. If your distro doesm't have/use sudo, "su -c 'make install'" works just as well. http://trac.fahmon.net/wiki/CompilingForLinux

    FahMon 2.3.3 Released

Yes, unfortunately it seems the patch to fix the "quick refresh" bug is too aggressive and is stopping legitimate refresh requests. I've had reports on the official forum and over at OCAU that this is indeed a problem. I'm going to try and work out a fix either tonight or tomorrow evening.

    I think Fahmon's got a bit confused. :D

I think that spectacular bit of brokenness is actually beacuse of how the newer a2 core decides to write out its log. It uses some really stupid step count when it prints out the progress, like 10 out of 200000, then 2010 out of 200000 etc.

    FahMon 2.3.3 Released

You shouldn't need to, but it won't hurt. FahMon will automatically copy the files over automatically the first time you run it.

    Nasty new SMP WU

Stanford have adjusted the points value for these WUs, which FahMon can't detect. It looks like you downloaded the project list when the points were at a previous value.

    FahMon 2.3.2b Released

No, it's just that Vista doesn't like programs creating their own files inside of program files. That's the reason the 5.9x SMP client throws fits if you install it to program files, as Vista won't let it save the FahCore. You can "fix" this by running as administrator, but thats a workaround...

    FahMon 2.3.2b Released

Thanks to Vista's locking down of "Program Files", FahMon won't work if you use the default install directory from the installer. I'll try and fix this for future releases by storing the config data etc. in a standard folder, much like the new style FAH clients do now.

    FahMon 2.3.2b Released

Have you tried trashing the config file? That might help, as I know a fresh installation doesn't do this.
