Yeah, also if your planning on overclocking, then I'd consider a aftermarket cpu cooler such as a ACF7 Pro, a very good budget cooler, you might also want to get the E2160 as it has a higher multiplier making it easier to overclock and only a few pounds more.

    E2180 any review comments

They've got a higher multiplier, 10 i think which obviously helps and tbh all C2D's overclock well so it probably will.

Exactly, theirs no point in having "favourites". Just get the one which offers the best performance regardless if their Nvidia/ATI, same goes goes cpu's and AMD/Intel.

Overall, looks excellent, a few more suggestions though. Change the sound card to the XtremeMusic edition, don't be deceived about the word 'Gamer' and therefore its better in games. Also get this harddrive, its cheaper and same the if not quicker performance:-...

Ultima OC 8800GTX - any good?

Are you not willing to chose all the components and then build it yourself? if not, I wouldn't recommend buying an OCuK Pre-Built system.

Pretty decent spec, although I'll make a few suggestions:- First off, for £3's more you can get the "Energy Efficient 95W Edition" Q6600, which runs cooler and therefore has more overclocking potential. Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail...

    Final Spec Check

Looks good although I'd buy an aftermarket cpu cooler to add to the huge overclocking potential you've already got.

Will be interesting to see how much more Quad Cores will benefit over Dual Cores, E6850 Vs. Q6600 for example and DX10 visual/performace.
