Just came to overclockers forum to find this post and it looks popular! Just pledged £20. Seems a good amount :) really hope this game happens! And soon. Wonder where they acturaly are in its development?

ok so i uninstalled and deleted those two files in system32/drivers and i installed the drivers again (12.11beta) and just put it up to 1250 and 1.3v, 7000 memory @ 1640mv and ran heaven on auto fans, it seemed fine, no artifacts, but then about 1 minute in it froze for 10 seconds, black screen...

ill have a play about with things, see if it gets any better. id be more inclined to think it was drivers rather than the card, i highly doubt many of these cards are shipped out faulty. has anyone had any games emailed to them yet? sat refreshing my mailbox lastnight but still nothing tonight...

awesome. i think i got a terrible chip on my card tho. i can barely keep it stable at stock clocks. and 2D/windowed gaming? impossible, just garbled nonsense and driver crash if i try. and now the 3rd of november, still no free game :(

card seems ok lyk, dont think its THAT much faster than my 5870 at the end of the day, lol. cant believe i only got £70 in my pocket for selling it thanks to ebays monumental fees. most gutting thing about my purchase is i didnt get any of the free games that it was supposed to come with :(...

i know it wasnt 20 mins, but it seems stable. got to about 86 degrees on auto fan profile, i think im gonna remove my sound card seeing as i dont use it (its about 2mm from the fans of the 7970...i guess tht wont help huh? xD

i cant seem to get any overclock whatsoever on my card, 1100mhz seems to be the best it does lyk :/ maby i just suck at overclocking these new cards. lol. i couldnt overclock the last 5870 i had either... ok, so i tryed harder, got it at 1225mhz on the core 1325mv and 899mv VDDCI (not too sure...

oh i may be in luck! am i right in thinking, one of the DVI ports on this card is acturaly HDMI in disguise? (does audio n stuff) because i have a DVI to HDMI cable!

is there no way to use HDMI with this card? :(:( i cant find any adapters or anything, and appears to be no cables or adapters in box, only a ridiculous DVI-VGA adapter that i have about 15 of. lol

hey guys, i just got payed and this card looks fantastic!! ive been wanting to replace my 5870 for agessss. and this card is making my mouth water. especially with the games package with it! only problem is, i use HDMI sound and then optical from my tv to my amp. im sure sound doesnt work over...
