Not calling your friends liars, I just find the whole thing really hard to believe, I did try the experiment myself with an open mind and wanted it to work (I mean who wouldn't that's pretty cool!). I can't help but think if Derren could really do this kind of thing, and predict lottery numbers...
Did it really work on your friends though or were they kidding themselves?
My sister-in-law said it worked on her, however she is the sort of person who would want it to work on her, one of the 'Bright and Open-Minded' people as Derren put it, that the experiment would be more likely to work...
I honestly believe it was a load of rubbish, just like his predicting of the lottery numbers, the gullible people of our nation will take it all in however.
Why wouldn't a recording of the show work?, why did you have to watch it live for it to work? Numbers, they wanted as many people as...
He did control you, by telling you to try to stand up, you did as he said and stood up. He also did stick you to your chair, by making you sit there trying his experiment you were stuck to your chair.
Play on words...
Mr Brown is a very clever man, the programme was called 'Control the Nation' and he did control the entire nation by making everyone stand up when he said to try and stand up, the whole nation tried to stand up... he 'controlled the nation' Another clever thing was that people were glued to...
Going back to my total numbers:
2347KCAL - 77.2g Fat - 309g Carbs - 208g Protein
I've been told to try and lower the Carbs to around 150 and I should be good to go
Yep I'll be using this stuff...
Do you think I'm taking in too much protein then?
Edit, I work out the total values to be: 2347KCAL - 77.2g Fat - 309g Carbs - 208g Protein
Sorry mate, should have been more specific.
First can I double check I have my sums right?
I weigh 198lbs, because I want to 'loose' weight I multiply this number by 12 which gives 2376 calories, I should also be getting 200-300g protein, correct?
The below table shows my daily in-take...
I am probably going to order the below tonight along with a 5ft Oly bar and some plates to get me started.
Anyone know of anything bad about this bench before I press the buy button?

Cheers!
Hey all,
I'm looking for a bench for the spare bedroom so size is a bit of an issue.
I've got a budget of no more than £200 and can't decide between Oly or Standard.
I was thinking of this - http://www.fitness-superstore.co.uk/barbell_benches/powertec_olympic_narrow_bench/9986_p.html...
hihi back from work,
Mr Men/Stig1 whatever else you liked to be called, you are one of the people who are ruining these what were once fine forums, your worse than a fanboy, you purposely go into the majority of PS3 threads and try to pick arguments with people over silly petty issues, and god...
