    Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor

This was on offer the other week for a couple of quid less. It's good fun to play on a hand held, with nice graphics and easy pick up n play fun.

Just checked and it looks like it doesn't. Just 3 babies rattles :D

**** The Official Chinese Phones Thread ****

Developer access is gained through tapping the miui version window in detailed info and specs section, about 6 times. Careful though, as screen dpi can send things a bit 'screwy' if you got wild with the numbers. Gotta say, I googled the camera rattle when I got my 13 ultra, having 4x 50MP...

**** The Official Chinese Phones Thread ****

Probably trying a different font would help, there are hundreds of free ones available through the themes section. Can't remember the name of the one I use but it is slightly larger than stock :) You get used to the camera rattle :D Just checked, the font is called: Constellation.

    Tempest GP27U - 27" 4k 160hz MiniLED HDR1000 (576 local dimming zones) - £800~

I'll try that test later this evening. I just ran a couple of YouTube videos, one white, one black :)

    Tempest GP27U - 27" 4k 160hz MiniLED HDR1000 (576 local dimming zones) - £800~

I've just taken a couple of pictures of my GP27U, its not something I've tested properly before, but these two shots are one of a white background in a well lit room and then a dark background with the room light turned down low. I did adjust the mobile phones exposure to try and match what it...

    Asus ROG Ally

Lots, take your pick. I'm currently playing Lies of P. Looks stunning and plays great.

    Tempest GP27U - 27" 4k 160hz MiniLED HDR1000 (576 local dimming zones) - £800~

I'd agree with everything above. Mine (to my eyes) has near prefect unformity, much better than any previous screens, be it dark or white backgrounds. If mine was showing that sort of yellowing it would have gone straight back to the retailer. After connecting up the hdmi cable last night, and...

    Tempest GP27U - 27" 4k 160hz MiniLED HDR1000 (576 local dimming zones) - £800~

So, it works straight out of the box and windows set the display to 144Hz, which is the maximum.....Do I need a better cable to get to the monitors max of 165Hz?

Just had a look in the monitor box and found this :D

Nice one, I'll have a look into that :)

Does a 4090 output 2.1? And do I need a special cable? Ta

    Tempest GP27U - 27" 4k 160hz MiniLED HDR1000 (576 local dimming zones) - £800~

I'm just running mine through Display Port, and have had zero issues. Perhaps being 'late' to the party, means I've missed out on the teething troubles :D

    Tempest GP27U - 27" 4k 160hz MiniLED HDR1000 (576 local dimming zones) - £800~

Do many people own this monitor? I don't see many people mention it  I've had mine from September last year and I can easily say it's been one, if not the best monitor I've owned. I mainly use my pc for evening gaming, and screen has excellent uniformity with no ghosting I can see...

    Lies of P looks incredible

No idea how I missed this. I've just picked it up and it plays fantastic. The art style and beautiful graphics look amazing, and I can't belive how well this looks and runs on the handheld Ally also. Nice and straight forward, rewarding gameplay that doesn't quite make you give up, but does...

More than 3 years on...and the 1080ti is still beasting it...

I watched some of that earlier today. I do still slightly miss the 1080Ti FTW3 I owned several years ago. I even fitted the official hybrid kit to it. An excellent GPU for its day. If we ignore the price of today's market, I did feel the same when I bought my 4090. A truly proper jump in...

The last game you completed, and rating.

I've had about 3 attempts at playing Alan Wake 2. And I've basically given up. It's painfully boring, on rails both in story and setting. And Saga the main character is lacking any sort of personality beyond a plank of wood. And how tedious is the mindspace crime board part. Saga seems to...

    Asus ROG Ally

Cool isn't it :D You've got Diagro above to thank for the heads up. They had a discount coupon on the website, so I thought, why not. ;) And shipping didn't take too long either. All the reviews show that compared to the stock back cover, it drops temps by a good few degrees, around the 10C...

    Asus ROG Ally

The HandHeldDIY Modcase arrived last week, I bought the purple version as I thought it looked quite nice :) Installation was as expected, although I did have to 'fettle' a couple of areas to get a perfect fit. Firstly, the kit is quite comprehensive for the price, and there's enough reviews...

Vented System - No Hot Water

Don't we all! :D I put a new fancy bathroom in a few years ago, with a fancy digital shower etc... It wasn't long before the daughter was complaining that the new shower was faulty and kept turning off.... Turns out the shower turns itself off after 20mins! Teenagers  And I thought...
