My netbook plays WoW, a toaster can play WoW. It doesn't need anything particularly powerful at all.

I use a 20" Samsung 206BW for a monitor, I wouldn't want anything larger than 20" for a PC monitor personally, but hey that's just my opinion.

I'm planning on buying a new rig soon with an Intel X25-M 160GB SSD and I intend to create a 30GB partition on the SSD for Win 7 exclusively, however, the last time I tried keeping an OS on its own partition it started to get bloated despite the fact I wasn't installing anything on that...

I'm still thinking I should install the OS on the HDD's and use the SSD purely for games, this rig is meant purely for games and as far as I understand installing them on the SSD will improve loading times a fair bit.

I'm anal about having the "highest" versions of operating systems, that's why I'm getting Win 7 ultimate. A single XFX 5970 Black edition is cheaper than 2x 5870's but would a single 5970 beat 2x 5870's in crossfire in terms of performance? Don't mind the extra cost. I dropped the RAM down...

Planning on picking up this rig, running the HDD's and SSD's in RAID0. Installing Win 7 on the HDD's and using the SSD's purely for games and overclocking the cpu to 4ghz. Also might pick up another 5870 later and run them in crossfire. Any thoughts?

Nope I won't be overclocking, don't know how to, and don't want to risk wrecking anything. :p Although, if I do need some extra cooling, what would you recommend? I'd prefer something quiet, but after you've lived with an xbox 360 for 6 months noise doesn't really matter that much. :D
