New Dell IPS S2721DGF 165hz gaming monitor

The Newer 'G' model has USB-c though which I know for a fact mine doesn't. The newer one has only Freesync-premium rather than premium-pro, whatever that means. both are G-sync 'compatible'. They both look to share the same chassis/stand etc. All I can say is there's no difference in...

New Dell IPS S2721DGF 165hz gaming monitor

Yeah I'm pretty sure thats the one I was thinking of...dfifferent manufacture though, the 'S' has an LG pannel and the 'G' has an 'AU optronics pannel'. there are also a few other differneces in spec, but they are broadly very simmilar.

New Dell IPS S2721DGF 165hz gaming monitor

They all seem to be 'S' line monitors on the website now... but they are only 75hz... tehy did do a 'G' which was identical in spec to the S2721DGF 165hz but thats dissapeared too...seems like they want people to buy curved monitors

    Hard Butter

It's not perfect as the sliced tend to stick together, so you have to prise them apart gently, but it's much less hassle than dealing with a solid loaf.

    Hard Butter

Pro tip... Soreen do packs of pre-sliced malt loaf which is much better as you don't end up squishing it when trying to slice it.

    Fleecehold

It's a baby step in the right direction, but as said above, there should be much stricter rules on transparency and fairness for management fees... I mean in some respects, it's appropriate the management company builds up a 'rainey day' fund for big jobs like roof repairs or whatever in the...

    EKWB in trouble?

I think a lot of his stuff is aimed more at noobs to be fair. If you assume that's his target audience his videos make more sense.

    Passive CPU cooling

My secondary pc has a cheap case as in £35 with cheap fans and that does reverberate a bit. I made a mat for it to sit on out of some rubber sheeting with a slice of polystyrene in between as a vibration isolator and that worked quite well. But don't underestimate a good quality pc case...

    Passive CPU cooling

Agree with the above but I also wouldn't over think it. If you use decent fans they realy don't make any noise to speak of at low loads. Case in point, I'm fully air cooled with decent cpu cooler and decent case fans... And at 'idle' or pretty much idle... Also a PSU and GPU with a zero RPM fan...

    EKWB in trouble?

I dunno too much about about it as I've always been air cooled, but they seem to be circling drain if Jay's too cents and gamers nexus are publicly slagging them off. Whilst I have no direct experience I've always been aware of the EK brand as one of the go-too water cooling brands. Bit of a...

    The nervous wait to exchange....

I paid £600 when buying, about 2 years ago... That was just the 'Labour' cost... Charges for searches etc were on top of that but they are all fixed price things anyway.
