Regarding assignments, it's also a case of trying to see the big picture rather than breaking it down in to manageable (perhaps oversimplified) goals per day/week. Fear of planning seems to be a big thing too, as once you know where your head is, it seems to flow better. I'm saying this...

What do you guys think of Royal London watches? I'm not a big enthusiast of watches but would find one useful. I like the look of a lot of their watches. I'd like a watch with a leather strap and simple but perhaps elegant analogue face. I'm willing to spend about £50. I know it's not much :p.

Germans can be cold/hard to talk to too, especially if you don't speak the language. A lot of people can speak English, but many can't too - it depends on many factors. The food isn't that great actually. The girls are much prettier than English girls and the beer sure is much better :p.

Have to agree with this. I wish dogs would just mind their own business while I have to walk past them. Admitedly, most are controlled while in towns but I have to walk through a park to my town centre and it seems almost impossible to get through without being licked or jumped on. :p Dog spit...

It really depends on your specific needs I guess. I've not seen much of the north of Germany except Berlin. But generally for the pretty landscapes you want to go more towards the south of the country and for a more modern experience go to the north. You can easily spend 5 days just in Berlin...
