I sold my iPhone 12 128gb for £500 to Music Magpie. I had to put it in a box and the reseller paid for Royal Mail to collect it from my door.
Apple are offering 'up to £410' for an iPhone 12. No doubt that's for the top storage model, so let's say I got an extra £100 for selling to Music...
At least with Samsung you get the occasional '£200 for any Android phone' trade in offer. With Apple it's "Lol we're about to rip you off. Bend over if you want it."
Is there such a thing as a super-grippy skin that also won't hide the appearance of the phone? I've had an XTreme skin before and it wasn't particularly grippy.
People using Apple trade in have more money than sense anyway. It's not really any harder to send your old products off to a reseller and get a much better price. It's not like the reputable ones quibble over the condition either, as long as you're honest up front.
I quite like this function - there's many a time I've ordered Siri to play music and if the Homepod handles the request, rather than going from the iPhone, then I don't get to see what song is playing. I'm sure the feature would benefit from an on-off toggle though.

And Google have already taken the cynical step of differentiating between what they described as two 'premium' phones in the 6 and 6 Pro by cheaping out on the screens (120hz vs 90z) and dropping a camera module. I'd be worried that the 6a will have features purposefully cut just to draw a line...
A few points:
1. AppleCare lasts for 2 years. You've multiplied £189 x 10, instead of assuming a 50% refund of unused premiums when you upgrade every 12 months.
2. Why are you including AppleCare in your sums, but not assuming the potential of at least one breakage for the Realme that will...
My Series 3 was at least one update behind, since it couldn't handle all 2.5gb of the last update without a full reset.
WatchOS 8 came in at 1Gb and installed without a reset, so I'm happy with that. I have no idea what changes it brings.
There are strict differences in what reviewers are allowed to discuss in 'unboxing and first impressions' videos versus a full review. The Verge have a full review up - camera tests, the works - while the big YouTubers are opening up boxes and telling us stuff like 'this looks great, see the...
