The Enthoo Luxe gets my vote too. I'm using it for a new Skylake build. I just need to install another hard drive and add the extra interior lighting strip and then I am done. My old Obsidian 650D was a decent case but the Luxe is so much better.

I realise this thread is 11 months old but what are the chances of a price drop on the black one please? And why not throw in a free 1m LED strip while you're in a generous mood? It's the perfect case for my soon-to-be-ordered Skylake build. It's time to retire my old i5 750 :D

I think the i5 6600k is a perfect upgrade for my 6 year old Lynnfield i5 750. I will be using it primarily for gaming. I will give it a month or two to see whether the prices of the CPU and/or the Z170 motherboards drop a bit.

Well I think I've been putting off an upgrade long enough. I am expecting a Skylake i5 to show a noticeable improvement over my 6 year old Lynnfield i5 750.

My first DGM died after a few months. The replacement is still going after 18 months but the backlight bleed is quite bad and it has recently developed a few dozen dead pixels so I have replaced it with an Asus PB278Q. It's a gamble buying an "A" grade DGM but a "B" grade is definitely not...

It looks as if they had run out of blu-tack when they were securing the panel to the bezel. On a positive note, some of that backlight bleed has now disappeared behind the lower bezel so it's not all bad :rolleyes: Seriously though, like I said in my first post. Send it back!!

Well assuming you do buy the Asus, please post your thoughts back here. The last person I convinced to buy the PB278Q was slightly disappointed because he said that he was used to a glossy monitor. (The Asus has a light anti glare coating.) Personally I don't mind it but some people do.
