I played it at 30fps, they fixed the 60 mode after I finished it. Now they have a vrr mode which runs at ~80fps so will use that for the dlc that I have had for ages but yet to play.

Ha ha, yeh I definitely didn't do that. Think my biggest issue with fw was doing it straight after zd, probably burnt out on it. Kind of wish I had a few years in between, and fw on ps5 at release had serious aa issues. Still think zd was the better game even with all that in mind tho.

I completed the game on ps5 and did a lot of side quests and didn't know that either.

That looks stunning now at 4k with proper AA, much better than when i played it ps5.

Got my 4090 for £1300 new, looks like even more of a good buy now than it did last summer.

Ha ha yeh I hear ya, I went from 3060ti to 4090. And can max out nearly everything after having to play with settings for years but ray tracing has thrown a spanner in the works for maxing everything.

I found capping framerate to 60 made the odd dip under that unnoticeable without a fps counter. I would try to keep path tracing on for this game.

Path traced? I was dipping under 60 sometimes at 4k dlss performance path traced. But only rarely.

20% would be pritty epic and definitely worth holding out for. 5-10% not so much.

What are we expecting +10% ? Would like to upgrade my 5800x but I'm happy to wait till zen 5 if its a decent enough upgrade.

The 4k unlocked mode is really good, looks a decent amount sharper. First time playing tlou2 since getting my oled and its just an unbelievably stunning game, and I've just finished path traced alan wake 2.

Alan wake 2 - 9/10 Stunning graphics and sound design. Truly a unique game, gutted its over and eagerly await the dlc.
