Same issues for me, with memory on xmp and I can only get the CPU stable at 4.6ghz.

I had this issue too. The fix was to reflash the bios again (same bios for me). It then allowed me to change the multi and maintain on restart. To flash the easiest way is to download the bios onto a USB, enter bios and flash from the USB.

Good post - I am very tempted to get a SSD, but just waiting to see where the development stabilises, and prices start to drop a bit.

The only real passing point is out of the tunnel, and kers won't help you there, its all about braking performance. But as pointed out above, a car 3s / lap slower in the dry will stay ahead, unfortunatley.

I have been using the beta now for 1 month, and so far its mixed reviews. In terms of usability, it is better. Gaming is faster. However it crashes randomly, and IE is still rubbish, locking up on every 3 websites!

I am in the same boat, in as much as i was lucky I suppose. I bought a G25 8 months ago for £125 and a Q9550 for £200 - which is a bargain still today!

I personally would suggest softTH. I have a 280 with a 8800gts card as the slave, but as mentioned, it doesn't do any rendering, so can be pretty much anything. You obviously need a motherboard with two PCI-E, but i have had issue with the Matrox unit in the past. They have just updated the...

I was fine with a 8800gt card until i upgraded to a 1900x1200 screen, which killed the card. I now have a GTX280 and its just a world of difference really.
