Dumb question - I take it that this issue doesn't happen if you have just one monitor plugged in?
Have you tried plugging both monitors in via HDMI or display port to see if that makes a difference
I've had a second hand aeron for the last 6 years, still looks the same as the day I picked it up and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another used model from a reputable seller
I'll be following the monitors unboxed burn in 'torture test' with interest, as most of my use is desktop apps as I work from home 3 days a week and I am very reticent to jump over to OLED until my concerns about burn in have been addressed or at least I'm a bit more informed about it
Better luck this time - I'll be interested in your impressions if/when you get it going, as I'm still running my 8700k@5ghz as it seems to be perfectly fine for my 3080fe system as I'm only on a 1440p 60hz monitor
I will be interested to see if they have been able to create a more efficient CPU in terms of its power use and whether they will offer a greater level of cache to help with frame rates
I thought it was, because it is a limitation of the number of pcie lanes. X670E boards seem to have far fewer issues as they 'double up' g so hopefully we will see some general consumer level boards with the new chips/chipsets that don't force you into difficult compromises
For example, some of the 650e motherboards force you to choose between populating all of the NVMe slots or using all the pcie lanes of your gpu.
Others kill pcie slots or NVMe slots depending on what you have plugged in
Are the Intel nics on am5 motherboards still a problem for some users? might need to factor in either a pcie nic or usb3 one unless you switch to a board with a realtek nic
Do they use what used to be Entanet (https://www.peeringdb.com/net/155) for backhaul across the UK and at what point do they handover from Openreach?
The prices/reviews look decent, but I do have some concerns about Entanet and their network resiliency
