What mouse and keyboard do you own?

Current mouse is a Coolermaster MM530, it's a fairly budget price by modern standards but seems to pack in all the features you would want anyway for a serious gaming mouse. I won't rave about it too much though as I've yet to see how well it does on the long-term reliability side of things...

    What mouse are you using?

After a lot of searching I ended up with a Coolermaster MM520 earlier in the year. I've found it to be a very good mouse but it seems to have flown under the radar a bit as I never see it mentioned anywhere (maybe people discount it as it's 'only' £35?). The crucial bits for me were its decent...

    FIFA 18

It does make sense to build a squad around those initial players you've packed yep. Make sure and try and work towards the starter objectives and the entry level squad building challenges also as they're designed to help you build up a workable squad for little cost. I wouldn't go out and buy...

    FIFA 18

Yep and just to make it clear, you fill up the subs+reserves spots of your 1st squad with all of the players from your 2nd squad, and then the same again with all of your 1st squad on the bench for the 2nd squad. So aside from the odd mid-game injury where you'll need to bring one of the tired...

The oldskool rave music (early 90s) thread

Ah what a fine thread. :) Some random favourites! DJ Red Alert + Mike Slammer, say no more! Trace always did love an amen break but this was pretty immense back in 93. I only discovered this one some years back on Youtube and it blew me away as it just feels a lot more advanced than most...

    Logic Puzzles

Umm, on their first visit to the room they could each unscrew the bulb and use the base to scratch a line on to the wall or something like that, before replacing it back into the socket? So it wouldn't matter if there were any repeat visits and someone would eventually be there making the 100th...

Configuration / functions all PC FPS games should have

All very fine suggestions so far...but no invert mouse option mentioned yet? Deary me! I can't be the only one who still swears by it surely? :)

    Human benchmark

Scored 11 on Number Memory Measured a Reaction Time of 199.0ms Scored 94 on Verbal Memory Scored 14605 points in Visual Memory That's pretty fun as far as these sorts of tests go. Oh to have a less tired, less addled brain again! :)

    Overwatch

Ah, cheers for the heads up! The future was looking bleak with quick play only. :)

    Overwatch

Anyone else a bit disappointed that they stripped out the Mystery Heroes mode with this new update? :( It was my go to option for a more chilled experience just slowly learning all of the heroes.

    Overwatch

I tried just now to check and had the same issue logging in, but after closing then relaunching the Bnet client, it started a ~370mb update for Overwatch and I've logged in successfully after it was all done.

    Degree.... hhhhnnnnnnnnggggggggggggg!!!

I don't know if it's only open to current students but this site: http://engineering.open.ac.uk/welcome.php has a lot of info relating to their engineering degrees, accreditation and so on. The BEng and MEng pathway PDFs are particularly good for planning your study route. The modules are the...

    Distance learning degrees

As per: http://mcs.open.ac.uk/engineering/accreditation.php They had a number of accreditations previously but by having to introduce new forms of their BEng and MEng, they'll have to go through the whole process again. We've been told it can't officially happen until somebody has graduated...

    US: Banshee season 2

Make sure to check out the Banshee Origins clips as well when you get a chance! All 25 of them. :p A few are a bit weak but you do get more of an insight into the characters and there are some moments in the main series that don't really make a great deal of sense until you've seen them.

    Video Game Music!

I've always loved the Neocron music The individual tracks aren't the most memorable on their own but the whole vibe they created while playing was absolutely spot on. Walking into Kuldahar for the first time was pretty cool as well

US: Last Resort Season 1 (will contain spoilers)

Well I've been enjoying it a lot, the last three episodes in particular so it's a shame to see it getting cut quite so quickly. Especially when dross like Beauty and the Beast is picked up for a full run of 22 episodes...the mind boggles.
