    Can't help i'm afraid, i was going to install my retail Win 7 64bit this weekend and then install COD5. Seeing your post feels me with dread :( I'll report back if i see something that helps.

    Q9550 made end of life

    Been tempted to do this myself. Just not sure how much i would gain performance wise? My Q6600 is currently @ 3Ghz no worries. The 9550 has more cache and presumably OC higher. But would it give much extra in real life use?

    I do have a retail version of Win 7 that arrived yesterday but haven't got round to replacing the RC copy. Was waiting on the 9.10's to appear first. Also debating whether to replace the 4670 with a 5750, i just need to check the card length as there's not much room in the Silverstone case.
