Hi all,
Have been looking for some new suit cases for the family, 3 cases for myself, wife and son he's 10.
Going away on our first family holiday soon, I've had a check on many different sites and not really sure what to look for.
Thanks all!
It makes sense to install poles or add the fibre cables to the streets with poles already but it is beyond me they cant just install in the area to finish off the rollout. I get it cost more to install underground.
Another update I called BT and they said FTTP will be installed in the summer.......
Well I got a reply saying:
Hello Danny,
Thanks for your recent enquiry via the Openreach website about getting faster broadband.
We don't have any plans to upgrade your area right now, but we can keep you up to date when things change. To receive any future updates please go to our fibre...
Thank you, been looking for a way to contact Openreach to find out when my side of the street will get FTTP. They have recently installed the FTTP poles to the other side street but unfortunately my side has everything going underground :(.
Red side of the street all new FTTP. Green triangle...
Hi all
Brother is looking to build a new system budget £2200.
Mainly use is gaming at I think 1440 / 4k (currently undecided on monitor resolution)he likes to keep his systems for some time so this is a massive performance upgrade from his 6 core AMD gtx 970 build.
Specs and advice...
Bike is a Medium, I'm 5ft 8 felt like if I took the bars off they would be taller than me :P . Cut the bars down 770mm today and feel much better.
Tried a wheelie and failed, not as young now plus I forgotten how to manual although the bike is much longer then what I used to ride.
After 9 years off the bike I finally decided to get back at it. Used to ride full suspension bikes back in the day having had a few Specialized bikes, Bighit, SX Trail and Demo 8.
A lot has changed will be learning a lot too as I go.
Decided to go for a hardtail nothing too expensive to start...
They'll probably get all the inventory sold before closing or sell quite a lot of it then sell it off to someone then close the sites.
CRC was way better before Wiggle got it hands on it.
HI all, awaiting delivery of a new bike (Saracen Mantra Elite) but looking at bike insurance also any recommendations?
Bike is locked in my garage, locked using a kryptonite new york fahgettaboudit chain to a Sold Secure Gold ground anchor etc.
Thanks!
After doing some digging, my ideal monitor would be something around the 38" - 44" insize with USB C (for work laptop) 2x HDMI 2.1 for XBOX and PS5 and a DP port for my pc.
Do you have likes to both please?
Found them. Be good to see if manufacturers release either a 16.9 38" or even the larger 43 or 48".
Quite like the screen realestate of larger 4k screen.
Thank you both,
I'm had some time to think and watched a few videos on some of the larger 43" monitors and realised the bigger you go the less PPI affecting text clarity. This video I watch was for the Gigabyte FV43U which has a VA panel. I'm not sure about other panels like IPS or OLED etc...
Hi all,
Looking for a 4K monitor for working at home (spreadsheets, word, teams etc) and gaming.
Currently have 2 27" 1080p monitors which are getting on for 3-4 years old now. I was looking at some of the 43" monitors but I'm a little lost with regards to size or even sticking with 2 smaller...
Hi all,
Advice very much needed after a good think and after I ballsed up my last post about a new system :P
Current system is 8 years old (the last system I built), but I do tend to keep my systems for some time.
Looking to build a new system with some specific needs.
