This creaking you mention, does this sound similar to what Im experiencing. Its just that I havent found anyone who says their set does this yet. Its usually been on a while when it happens so its not a case of as its warming up.

I got a 42" Panny G10 last november and for about a month now Ive put up with what sound like loud creaks/cracks coming from it. I notice it more in the evenings when its quieter (kids!) and its really distracting when it happens. Its not a constant thing, it can not happen for an hour or so...

Well I have to admit, the main reason Im upgrading is because I play Warcraft on it now and again. Runs alright really but I think it would benefit hugely from more RAM.

Easy question this (I hope) I accidentally bought a single 2GB module for my wifes laptop instead of 2 x 1GB modules. Its a Dell Inspiron 6400 and the maximum it can take is 2GB. The question is, can I get away with using a single module instead of two and if so are there any disadvantages??
