    Motorola Moto X+

I really hope the X+ delivers. All the current phones have little problems which bug me. M8 - Lacklustre camera which constantly overexposes Z2 - Seems very locked down, a lot of the usual exploits to root the phone don't work and the front facing speakers sound average. One Plus One -...

    OnePlus One.

I'm incredibly interested in this phone, but I'm still waiting on what the speaker situation is. For me, it's front facing or nothing. It simply doesn't make sense for them to face any other direction.

    Curved is here....

Samsung's business approach really annoys me. It's like they don't think in the slightest. It's just "Throw anything out there. OK, what have you got? Yep, that's good. Let's go with it. Who's next? Yeah, OK approved, next."

    Nexus 5 leaked

I'm probably going to hold off on this one. Right now, the only major things I'm holding out for is a phone that is easily rootable/hackable/etc., has front facing speakers and has a really decent camera, especially in low light. It doesn't have the front facing speakers, and it seems like while...

    ****Oppo N1****

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_XzQfKNmgc I know the word innovative is thrown about every which way these days, but this really does have some really nice innovative features, like that invisible rear touchpad and being able to draw gestures even when the screen is turned off. It's just a...

***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

I love AOKP's customisable navring shortcuts so much I haven't even bothered with any other ROMS. Basically the "drag up from the home button for Google Now" on stock Android, you can customise those to launch apps, do certain functions, add up to 5 (or is it 7?) total shortcuts, have...

be careful of the 4.3 update for your Nexus 4 / 7

All I hear about 4.3 is bad stuff. I think I'm gonna hold off on updating for a few months to see if these bugs get fixed first.

Is that stock one on auto settings? The colour temperature seems way too cold for a bright sunny day. The white balance must have been changed or something.

    WARNING - Nokia Drive/Here update.

To me it's an improvement. The next direction is obviously very important, so it's a good thing that it's off on its own. The other stats are pretty much unneeded really, so they're grouped off somewhere else still available, but not cluttering up the more important info you need (next...

    Google-Motorola "X Phone" in the 2013 pipeline?

Is that 2 microphone holes on near the bottom of the device on the front and back? What's the purpose of the rear one?

***The Official Nokia Lumia 1020 Thread***

I feel like Nokia never pushes Rich Recording like they should. I think it's a fantastic innovation, and something which needs bringing to attention just as much as the camera. I mean just think of all the concert and festival goers who could benefit from being able to lossless zoom video AND...

    Google-Motorola "X Phone" in the 2013 pipeline?

Right now this is sounding a bit like a Nexus 4+. Near-stock Android, slightly outdated hardware and 16GB with no SD Card (?). Improvements are possibly camera and battery. If this were around the same price of the Nexus 4 (like £320 maximum), then it could be fairly decent to those looking...

    Google-Motorola "X Phone" in the 2013 pipeline?

I'm all for a phone with a decent sized battery, but that thing looks like a beast thickness-wise. Overall the design does nothing for me, and rear facing speakers...ugh.

    Essential Android Apps

What's the best app in case I lose my phone? Something with the ability to upload a photo from the front facing camera if X unsuccessful login attempts and remote wiping/disabling would be ideal.

***The Official Nokia Lumia 1020 Thread***

I really, really, RE-HEEEEEEELLY wish this was running Android. Throw in some front facing speakers, a bigger battery (thicken the case so there isn't an ugly hump for the camera, and the extra space would allow for a bigger battery maybe)...my ultimate dream phone.

I want the Butterfly S so much. It fixes almost everything that was bad about the One.

***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

I run AOKP and the latest Franco Kernel (currently #154). My typical usage is: -Take off the charger at around 07:10. -Check up on news/RSS feeds/mainly web content during my 15 minute break. -Finish checking the news and stuff, and then watch a Youtube video or two or listen to music...

    ***The Official HTC One Thread***

Is there much difference between the developer edition and the new stock Android version? I mean with the developer edition, you can just as easily install a stock rom or AOSP-based rom and get basically the same experience. Unless this new one will get official driver support for things like...

***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

To be fair I seemed to have the exact same issues he did with the official app. Mine would constantly not respond, forcing me to kill it, and a LOT of the times the video wouldn't even load, or like I said before it would only load on the very lowest quality, which is unwatchable. I should...

    Essential Android Apps

Poweramp. I think the smallest widget they do is a 4x1, which I use and it's really good. They just had an update to really customise how the widget looks too.
