    Big Bike Thread

I'd guess I'd be using it for fairly general purpose bridleway and singletrack, and then every so often taking it to a trail centre like Hamsterley or Dalby forest to take on some red and black routes... Helpful?

Hey guys, I'm looking into getting a new hardtail in a couple of months time and wondered if anyone could recommend or suggest a bike for a budget of around £700? Thanks

No unfortunately not. Was that near the DH sign-in place too? I also doubt my average hardtail would have coped with that (and my complete lack of skills). Will have to give it a whirl sometime in the future when I've got a new bike.

Thanks for the help chaps. I probably have a look into Intelligence Direct; they seems fairly reasonable and easy to use.

Wish I'd seen this before setting off! Totally agree about the red being a bit naff; the last section was pretty good, almost worth the trek to get there. Had a go at the first bit of the black loop too which was fairly good fun. Unfortunately missed out the extension red because I had an unfit...

Heading up to Hamsterley Forest tomorrow for the first time, thought it would make a change from doing the annual Easter Dalby trip. Anyone been there before?

The lack of photo threads around these parts§

I'm going take this up as a challenge and start a thread at some point soon posting the pictures I take for the uni paper. They're mostly sports photos, which I find the most fun shooting. They're nothing amazing but it would good to hear what crit people have.
