It might be, or they might be roads without sufficient street lights?
I live on a signed 20, but that's because it's not lit sufficiently to be covered by the national limit. It would have previously been signed 30 or been a 60 road.
Some places haven't taken the 20s down everywhere either...
They'll sign the few that will change, and if people default to 20 when they aren't sure then no one will get fined.
I'm amazed at the fuss it's caused. I've not met anyone that actually lives on these roads complaining, which is ultimately who this should be for.
I have been on a few where it...
Not this.
In Wales then if it's not signed then it is 20. That's the point of the law change - that the default speed limit on lit streets is 20 instead of 30.
As you say though, if it says 30 then it's 30.
Zone2 is the correct setting. It means that your Surround Back terminals will only be fed if you have zone 2 turned on.
It's used when you have 1 amp and want to hookup say outdoor speakers to the same amp.
You only need to change the setting if you add another 2 speakers and looking at the...
Well I only mentioned my own stands which when full of sand would be about 7kg each. But this particular unit has a top weighing somewhere around 70kg plus what's fixed on top & underneath it.
By no means a typical comparison but the point is it's completely situation dependent and the general...
Mine sound great on my media wall with just some small isolation pads. They are well positioned though and the unit is very solid. Make sure they are right at the front of the shelf to mismise impact of reflections, and the rear wall.
I think stands are a bit overrated as are many things in...
I wouldn't have paid for this, but sometimes it's worth paying a bit to just keep things moving.
The way people wrangle over a few hundred quid here or there when delays & sunk costs are where the £ are lost seems odd to me.
If things don't go well with this buyer, at least it's your survey and...
It's not the 7 or 6 seats I'm after. It's the van like load space in a car based EV.
The extra seats come in handy occasionally, but I could live with 5 seats that fold forward & leave a tall, long load space for bikes & other outdoor kit.
Looks like I'm currently SOL, but hopefully something...
The Serena isn't the best looker but I really like the Stepwagon aesthetic. Certainly not the fastest, but I can deal with that, it's all about the load space and general driving environment.
Yeah it seems at the moment like a van is the only option but even the Tourneo versions are pretty...
Is there anything like a Honda Stepwagon / Nissan Serena on the horizon?
I know there's the id Buzz but the rear seat folding is naff so it won't be very good for getting bikes in upright.
So many SUVs but seemingly very limited in terms of van like people carriers.
Those sorts of systems tend to struggle to drive 'proper' speakers.
Yours says 8ohms which suggests it might work but it's only 10w per channel so it won't work well!
But it also has a line out so you'd be better with some decent powered speakers connected to those.
Lots of good options from...
I'd say it's unlikely to work well but ask the manufacturer of the product you want to install.
Carpet, underlay & floorboards is a hell of a thermal barrier. Especially as it looks like you wouldn't fit much insulation below.
The biggest issue I've found is the lack of 3 bed houses with bigger living spaces. They are like hens teeth, so if you want bigger lounge or kitchen diner etc you need to also get a place with more bedrooms.
Well I'm at a loss. Your Denon even displays completely differently to mine.
I get Atmos & Auto displayed via eARC but it never shows what speakers are in use, regardless of if it's Atmos, DD etc.
My netflix menus are never full surround though so maybe it's just your receiver upmixing for...
Are you definitely plugged into the eARC hdmi ports on both the TV and the Denon?
My receiver and TV both have 2 ARC but only 1 is eARC. The TV would normally default to eARC rather than need to be set.
I'd have to check if Atmos from TV apps comes as DD+ or Atmos over eARC though, but do you...
