bought a gigabyte gtx460 1024mb from overclockers.recieved it tuesday,installed it,the 2 dvi ports work with adapters for hdmi but the mini hdmi port doesnt,also no voucher for tonyhawks2 game,sent off email to overclockers and up to now not a peep out of them.:mad:

i,ve just ordered my first green card from overclockers uk.a gtx 460. i,ve always been ati fan but the price on the 460 was too tempting.i now have a radeon 3870 and a radeon 3870x2 on my hands what is the best way too sell them.any advice welcomed.

ok,thanks guys,i think i,ll stay with 3870 until i can afford a better card than the 5550.

at the moment i have a radeon 3870,is it worth upgrading to a radeon 5550,will there be much improvement over 3870.the 3870 has 512ddr4 memory while the 5550 has 1gb of ddr2 memory.any advice welcome.:confused:

sound over tv if you want sound over hdmi, open the player you use, ie media player classic,zoom player etc, go in to options and click on audio output and change from system default or what ever your sytem sound options are and click on ati high deffinition .that will send sound straight to tv.:)

make sure you use ati control center in basic mode to setup display.pick clone moniter not extended desktop and you should be good to go.

what is best for games a hd tv or a pc monitor,:confused:

:confused:yes it definetly says that, big sticker stuck on the outer cellophane on card which shows connection to card to powersupply to hd c.

:confused:i just got my hd 3870.it says connect card to power supply which is obvious ,but also to connect to drive c.that is the bit that confuses me. any one know whyconnect to drive c?

yes it was,about 30pounds,their is a black connecter that looks like the one in thepicture but it doesn,t have that small adapter fixed to the side of it
