Anyone else miss sequels also being major graphical overhauls ? These days sequels come out 1 or 2 years later and look near enough the same (check out the BioShock 2 footage for example).

Have to agree, ATI's drivers suck for me, most of the games i like playing (Crysis, GTA IV and more) all work better/properly on Nvidia. Ive lost faith in benchmarks too, as imo they dont show real world gameplay performance with cards, many times ive seen a benchmark say such n such beats...

Heres hoping they actually make GTA IV run properly (theyve had plenty of time). My sodding 8800GTS 512 outperforms my 4870 considerably, its simply silky smooth on it, the 4870 is a stuttery mess :@

Finished it on Impossible the other day, gotta say, thats the way to play the game :D You genuinely had to worry about each shot, trying to conserve ammo and what not. Enemies are deadly like they should be, and the tension was sky high, the stasis thing became a necessity too, absolutely...

I usual bolt at movie licensed games, but i gave it a whirl and i find the bullet bending gameplay and brilliant cover system a hell of a lot of fun. Its deffinately not worth full price though, because of the length.

Thats Steam for ya, as awesome as it is, there T&C's are quite frightening in how much control they have over your account and games. You only technically own a license to play the games, which they have total control over.

Pretty sure you can just speed through individual chapters to lower the overall time. I was doing a couple of missions so i had a full S rank, and it randomly told me i had got the infinate launcher :).

Just swapped out my 4870 for an 8800GTS, and by lord what a difference. The texture go down to medium and a few of the sliders go down a notch, but its incredibly smooth. Frame rate is consistant and high. I really think ATI's drivers suck hard for this game, whose knows maybe Nvidia are holding...

Decided to pick this up again as a family member saw it in Morrison's for a tenner and grabbed it for me, and the latest patch has decimated game performance for me........... Il start a new game, drive to the apartment, walk back outside the apartment and boom, were talking literally 5 FPS...

If they did, it would be third person, have a cover system, include co-op, have a heavy focus on guns, 30 collectable somethings located across the game, and someone telling you exactly what to in a level :).
