I game in 4K on a 43 inch display and the fps counter was always small for me. Now it looks like i am running at 1080p as the fps counter is like 3x bigger now so you are not tripping. I did a full driver uninstall and it is still like that. Looks awful now.
Congrats on the sim lab rig. A tip for you if you wish to use it is that you can get a couple of sticky pads and stick them below the button box and the stream deck will fit perfectly below your button box.
I would say unless the card comes with some sort of bracket then you will need one if you dont want any sag. My old 2080 RTX also sagged so i would think the 3080 would too.
Good choice with the honeycomb yoke. I have one and it is fantastic. If you are definitely going down the route of a yoke then you 100% need rudder pedals. Mapping the rudder to buttons is a terrible idea. Rudder on a joystick is fine using the twist axis but that is not an option with the yoke...
I was getting poor scores with my 3090. I had recently updated mobo bios and forgot to save my settings. Games run fine but Port Royal scores were terrible in the 12,000's. No matter what I did scores were not good. Then one night i noticed in GPU-Z my gpu was running in x4 mode instead of x16...
Believe it or not I get no pump noise/bubbling at all with it mounted the way I have it. That's when it is in silent or performance mode using the cam software. Temps are all good. Seen the gamer nexus video a while after the install but I have not had any issues at all and that is with Prime 95...
Finally hit 14K!

Got back into pc gaming in 2004. As you can see I am an Nvidia fanboy! Thought I would get that in before anyone says anything! :p
Original FarCry was what got me back into pc gaming. Would run med to high graphics with the 5200 FX card and FarCry looked stunning and it really opened my eyes to...
Thought i better join this thread since i do a bit of virtual flying. I have been heavily into flight sims since MS 2004, then FSX, X-Plane 11 and now this. I know there are a lot of issues with MSFS but even so, It is still a work of art. If you are happy bush flying then it really is hard to...
I wonder if you would still get some sag with this though as it is only supporting it on the board side. I think there might still be a bit of droop with this type installed?
Overall I am liking some of the solutions that people have come up with in this thread so far!
Perfect thank you! I updated the bios recently which had reset all the settings and I forgot to save my setup before updating. Afterwards I noticed my load times into windows went from around 10 seconds upto 17 seconds according to task manager. I was also having a weird issue where Windows...
Sorry to be a pain but can i submit/ have my score updated again please? Was wondering why mine was a bit low and realised i was being a bit of a noob and had a setting wrong in the bios!
