Switching from a gaming chair to ergonomic £1,000+ Herman Miller mesh chair or alternatives?

I was looking to buy 2nd hand Aeron but I could not find any locally for reasonable price. I bought Mirra v1 instead and so far I like it. Is as comfy as Aeron which I have at work (although last time I was sitting in one was in March). I had Ikea Markus at home and Mirra is much better. Things...

Gaming Chair with a softer base? Does anything exist?

I have the same problem with Ikea Markus at home, ok chair, but the seat is to firm or the padding not thick enough. I'm using HM Aeron at the office and it is great as I can sit for hours in it. I would love to have one at home as well the only issue is the price even for 2nd hand chairs

Probably not needing it now but was thinking about future proofing especially at the current prices

    16gb vs 32gb

What would you rather have for similar price (for Ryzen 3600 system): 1) 16gb very fast memory ie 3600mhz with good timings, likely samsung b die or 2) 32 gb decent memory ie 3200mhz c16 (Corsair LPX)

    Cheap tablet for watching TV

I've bought Samsung A 10.1 recently for SKY/BT GO. It has full hd screen and 2gb RAM, it is not top of the shelf but just for watching telly you don't need a lot spec wise. Mine was refurb unit from popular auction site, paid below £100, brand new ones are more expensive. So far everything...

MSI GTX 970 Gaming Edition Review and Performance

Good review, I own this card. The biggest highlight for me is how quiet it is despite being overclocked (boosting to 1400mhz) and never exceeding 68C. I have ROG Swift and don't have any problems to keep 40+ FPS on High/Ultra settings in all the games I tried.

    The Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q – a 27” 1400p 144Hz Monitor with G-SYNC

I have this monitor plus my TV is connected using HDMI. The problem is I can't see post on ROG and monitor is only in operation once Windows7 is starting to load. If I unplug TV I can see POST info on ROG but I like to have both connected so I can switch on TV (or expand) when needed. Any...

    New PSU

Hi, I have a problem with choosing new PSU. I need at least 600W, under £90 ideally, fully modular and very quiet. I would prefer ribboned (stealth) cables, unit not longer than 160mm. Options I'm looking at are: Corsair RM 650W - cons are not great reviews, can overheat due to fan kicking...

I was waiting for those to be available, very good reviews on eteknix and kitguru (not sure if I can post links)

    New PSU required

Thanks, I will read the reviews. The feature I like that Corsair RM650 has is that all cables are "stealth". The biggest issue I had with Define R3 is that 24pin cable is to thick and hard to route behind motherboard tray.

    New PSU required

My Zalman GT 600W is almost 6 yrs old so I'm thinking about replacement. My requirements are: At least 600W Size: 160mm Semi or fully modular Stealth (ribboned) cables Price under £100 (ideally cheaper than £80). I was looking at Corsair RM650W, is there anything else I should consider?

    Sound problem on the laptop

Tried it. I won't get the message but the sound is not working for the first 30 minutes and sometimes I'm getting crankling sounds. My guess is that the laptop needs to heat up a bit before and than working fine all the time.

    Sound problem on the laptop

Hi, I have a problem with the laptop. The sound is not working for the first 30 minutes and after that I need to restart it and the sound is working until I switch the laptop off for the night. I have tried new drivers, new system and the problem still there. I think that the sound chip...

Which processor are you buying? i5 3570K or i5 2500K?

I went for 3570k as I prefer new gen and not planning to overclock more than 4.2. I have also bought ASRock Extreme 4 and Sapphire 7950 OC. Should be nice upgrade from current rig

Which Z77 motherboard did you go for?

Really strange that price difference between Asrock Extreme4 and Extreme6 in US is $20 but it is 50 in here. I think extreme6 is overpriced.
