Hi all I've always cooled my computers using air. Would a Noctua NH D15 and a load of Noctua fans be suitable for a 7950X in a mesh type chassis? Are all in one water coolers now a better solution? I can't go to full on custom water cooled due to lack of understanding / time...

Got mine. 7950X, X670E Hero, Vengeance 64GB. Expensive afternoon...... The foundations of a new survey / modelling rig for my new business so at least I get the VAT back. Waiting on the RTX 4090 now.

I tried bagging a 3090FE in the drop today, failed as I had purchased one last year so kept getting order denied. This was really needed for my new business too. This situation is depressing. May have to jump to a 6900XT instead.

Thanks, didn’t know of that rule but obviously makes sense. Would rather my friends & family didn’t know I’d spend £1400 or so on a component so will keep my options open!

Are 3090 FEs still being released every now and again? I luckily bought one early/ mid last year so I’ve been out the loop and not checking for some time. I now have a need to build a new PC soon though so guess I have to join the rat race again! Ta.
