I wear jeans pretty much all the time. I find them so comfy.

    The network engineers thread

I wish I went down the network engineer route. When I was at uni, our network modules were basically CCNA. I bought all the books and loved it. My first job was in house IT so dealt with mainly desktops and some of the servers. Network support was pretty much provided by a 3rd party so there...

We read to her during the day and evening. Bottle time she likes to sit there chilling out. We made that mistake the beginning of last year, she got into our bed one night when she wasn't very well and took us almost a month to break the habit. She stayed at my parents last night just so we...

Guys any tips for a nearly 2 year old with separation anxiety? Over the last week or two, she starts crying whenever I leave the room. She settles down after 5-10 minutes but it's the night times that are a killer. She'll wake up crying calling out for me. My partner will try and settle her but...

I'd leave there as soon as possible. This woman will cause more issues for you in the future.

    Winter 2023/24 - It's FREEZING!

I felt the cold this morning. I hate when it's really cold out, my hands split easily so I end up with load of splits and cuts on them :(

We had completely the opposite when we had ours two years ago. The induction ward was pretty chilled when it come to visiting hours (12pm-9pm iirc) and when it come to leave they didn't mind you staying a little longer as long as you were quiet. My partner was took down to the delivery suites...

    OcUK Dadsnet thread

One bit of advice is get stuck in and get involved. Ask a lot of questions when you go to appointments and ask for help from friends and family if you need it. Also, make sure you have time with your partner. Once a month my parents will have them both for the weekend. Saturdays we both go off...

'Sign in with a local account instead' missing from fresh Windows 10 installation

Exactly the same as Windows 10, either OOBE\BYPASSNRO or the [email protected] trick will work.

'Sign in with a local account instead' missing from fresh Windows 10 installation

When it asks you to sign in to a Microsoft account, you can also type [email protected] with anything as the password. It'll when say something went wrong, click next and you can then create a local account.

Frankly obscene Ring 42.8% subscription increase

That's a pretty big jump. That said, I'll probably stay with Ring as it does what I want and the doorbell works.

    Simple video editor

I gave Davinci Resolve a try with the help of some YouTube tutorials and managed to get a semi decent video out of it. However I've realised how under powered my laptop is as it took ages to get anywhere with it.

King Charles III / Royal Family

I wish him a speedy recovery, wouldn't wish cancer on anyone. However, the BBC are acting like he's died and gone overboard with this.

    Simple video editor

I'm after a very simple video editor for Windows. I've tried OpenShot Video Editor, VSDC, Shortcut but they seem over the top for what I'm after. I've tried to use ClipChamp but the video never imports and sits at 0% preparing. I'm basically after something where I can trim or cut a video...

    Plasterboard wall plugs

This is why I'm terrible at DIY, as I would have used corefix without realising it was for dot n dab. Ignore my suggestion :)
