When are you going fully electric?

Bumblebee EV Charging will be fitting an 'EVEC' 7.4 kW socketed single phase charger with a type 2 connection, retail £929, through Arnold Clark £499....untethered. So not getting the car today as no-one at Arnold Clark(that I spoke to) knows where it is!! My salesman is on a training course so...

When are you going fully electric?

Yes, the car was just registered in March 24, Arnold Clark had at least 21 of them in on their website in Scotland. Anyone know if there are any car insurance companies who will do a decent price for EV's.

When are you going fully electric?

Thank you that's very kind, though retired I am only 66yrs and hopefully have many years of driving left. Both my children drive electric, one has the MG4 long distance version and the other a Volkswagen ID3 so I can learn a lot from them.

When are you going fully electric?

I have been looking at EV'S for a good few years now but have always found them too expensive. Almost two years ago I bought a Citroen C4 Sense 1.2. My wife and I are now both retired and I got a phone call from my local Arnold Clark asking if I would be interested in a Citroen E-C4. They have...

The Radeon RX 7900 XT(X) Owners Thread.

Currently running a 5600X cpu and considering a 7900xt or the 7800xt. Is the 7900xt too much for the cpu?

    NVIDIA 4000 Series

It is already happening, I haven't bought any computer part for two years now since my Radeon 6800@£599 from OCUK. The current cost of living/energy crisis has put paid to that. The cost of computer parts ie cpu/motherboard/memory/graphics is through the roof. I have built myself a new computer...

Why are retailers charging so much over rrp.

And Gibbo, you actually believe that £1399 for a 3080 is ok or £800 for a 3070 or £2299 for a 3090!! Come on man. Anyway had enough.

Why are retailers charging so much over rrp.

If demand is way beyond supply why is there plenty stock on the shelves in the half dozen retailers i looked at last night, and yes i included you guys, as i said we all remember when there was no stock at all! I would suggest that we've reached the point where the fomo customers have all got...

    UK 4K Sports Services?

Have to agree Amazon are way bigger than Sky and its only a matter of time. I expect to do without Sky and Virgin when my current contract runs out in September and manage with just the internet stuff. Will have to decide who to take my internet with though.

Certainly getting 4k Premier league football through Virgin via BT Sport and via Amazon. Not interested in F1 so don't need Sky!

    Service charges a little excessive?!

My last service in June last year on my three year old Vauxhall (Peugot) @ 15,000 miles, basically an oil and filter change, Arnold Clark wanted £265! I told them to do one and went to a local garage, not a vauxhall dealer, used genuine vauxhall parts sourced from......the very same Arnold Clark...

When are you going fully electric?

I would love to go fully electric as I have retired aged 64, due to a bad shoulder. However I cannot afford even the cheapest of EV's which are around £20,000 new, my driving mileage these days is probably around 5,000 miles per year and there is no journey I undertake more than 60miles return...
