They won't sell you an FAC rated spring without an FAC anyway. That said, a .177 spring in a .22 rifle would push it over the limit as a .177 spring needs to push the pellet faster to reach 12 ft lbs. But if you do this, in the eyes of the law you're walking round with a firearm.

Incorrect Sir. That was the point of my message, that they have changed what being a partner is - if you're monetised you're technically a partner, but not all partners get custom banners etc. I'd find the emails from youtube partner support if I could be bothered.

Being a Partner is different now, Youtube has changed the format. I am a partner but I don't have a banner and custom thumbnails. If you're monetised, you're a partner. I have asked youtube for banner etc and have had responses from explaining this.

Good substitute for keeping the bluing rust free is motor oil. Pretty much the same as gun oil ;)

Yeah I know, sub 12ft lbs needs an FAC in NI, but what I'm saying is a SGC isn't and FAC, that's a separate cert for rifles, which a shotgun isn't. Theoben FAC rifles are good as they have massive buddy bottles so get decent shot count.

A shotgun cert (SGC) is different than a FAC I believe. If you are going to go for FAC I'd recommend going for a PCP not a spring piston - recoil would really limit your range on a spring/piston rifle.
