Pidgin is mentioned a lot round here, but I've never used it for a webcam so I don't know how good, if at all, it is with that.

I don't think they plan on fixing it. FileHippo host the old installer, but I think it just downloads the new version from their servers anyway.

Save this (right click and choose 'Save Target As') and run it. You might need to make the file a '.reg' as opposed to '.txt', depending on the browser.
