Agreed :D iPhone 12Pro new battery refreshed the phone in so much it goes through a day without looking to charge and seems snappier than it was with old battery - that might be wishful thinking. I’ve gone from probably going to swap it when iPhone 15 comes out to really can’t be bothered as the...
My iPhone 12Pro battery was down to 80% and was struggling to do a day without recharging and that was with light use. The back was slightly bowed too I was told due to battery swelling which accounted for it getting hot at times. So nearest Apple service centre to me was at EE shop. They fitted...
I’ve mentioned before but bought iPhone 12Pro in Oct ‘20. Battery health slowly dropped over time to 84% around January this year. Since then it has never dropped further though battery does not last as well as it used to. How come it’s stopped at 84% or is it just a glitch.
Once you move your sim to esim you can then add a second sim on another network should wish and assuming your phone isn’t locked to EE
Should you move to esim then remove the physical sim be careful not to remove the wrong sim in iPhone settings.
iPhone 12Pro bought Nov ‘20 currently at 84%. Seemed to drop quite rapidly once it dropped off 100%. Charged every night on a Samsung fast charge pad with a 20watt brick. Changed the brick for a 5watt in January for a slower charge over night when battery wear was then at 84% and as stated above...
Thanks, I’m a Lloyds business customer and use their app a lot now (on phone anyway). Tempting to try iOS 16, though as my m1 iPad is less mission critical might try iPadOS 16 instead and leave the phone alone.
Anyone on 15beta does it give software version as 15.0? First time I’ve installed the iOS 15 beta and presumed it would say something like 15 beta5?
Edit; Just checked version number which is 19A5318F which is beta 5 so ignore my post!
Has final release dropped? I decided to give beta a go but never got it installed. Yesterday I got the message beta 5 was ready to install so I clicked install later. So overnight it installed and version number says 15.0?
My pickup has the habit of starting a regen just as I’m about home. I have occasionally wedged a stick on the throttle (what could possibly go wrong :D) and set revs around 1800rpm. Let it do it’s thing and it’s done in 5 or 10 mins. It does have a display item on dash that shows regen progress...
My mrs has ‘grazed’ the front wing of her Mini Countryman on a wooden post. She ‘fessed up and asked me to take a look. Told her it was very superficial and would probably polish out ....... with a polisher. Wasn’t really a hint but she bought me a Tacklife DA polisher. Seems a decent thing...
One thing that hasn’t been mentioned with the Ford Ranger, on some the engine oil pump has lost prime or failed and then its curtains for the engine unless you get lucky and stop it quick enough. Don’t think it affects the new models but have heard of it on models of the age you are looking at...
Yes, will only end badly. These sort of stupid things soon escalate. They’ll probably move on elsewhere possibly or trading standards might catch up with them in a few years  You may even end up on an episode of Watchdog or Don’t Get Done, Get Dom! :D
If you are into photography and have used a DSLR you will notice the iPhone camera failings. Most people on the other hand don’t want the hassle and won’t view many of their photographs on anything bigger than a iphone display. All considered the fact that the phone lens are small and at the...
Bit savage for an MOT inspection :D
They are famous for chassis corrosion - not that any are built to last. Wouldn't be in their interest as they want to keep selling new ones. I have a 3YO Isuzu D-Max and notice the so called paint or whatever it is inside rear wheel arches is getting a...
I kind of know what you mean. I was a convert to an iPhone mid 2020 from an Galaxy S10. Don’t regret the move. I bought a second hand XS Max and thought if I liked it I would buy a new iPhone 11 Pro. So that’s what I did. I bought the 11 Pro as found the XS max a little big and clumsy to use. I...
