The STI spoiler or the one in the picture posted? If you meant the picture thats of sneaky peakys old car and you should read every post! If you mean the STI one then I disagree, it looks just right!
Really find these ugly and unimpressive looking compared to the EP3. Never driven one so can't comment on performance. Do you notice any difference in straight line speed, does it feel heavier?
Hmmm I was wondering about the boot springs but the spoiler isnt THAT heavy. Its not the official £900 from subaru one, its a replica (perhaps too cheap a replica, will see when it comes back from being painted, might have to end up getting a more expensive and better quality one!).
Spoiler has more points than the boot has holes. I think I'll get the old drill out at the weekend and some strong double sided tape like the high grip no more nails stuff, dont fancy the spoiler exiting the car at speed!
Gaijin - you are right, the WRX one just looks lame, car would be...
I picked up an 05 Impreza WRX PPP on sat. I hate the low level spoiler as it really doesnt look right so I orderedd the STI style high level one.
Has anyone else done the same change? If so, did you just use the 4 standard mounting holes or did you drill extra ones to support the extra weight...
Admin rights thing isnt a problem for stuff like bionic, especially if I say I'm running climate models or something noble like that :)
Biffa I've tried to attach to projects but it just says it cant attach and the messages window just says its fetching the config.
MGP - not sure about the...
Another solution may be to bring enough work units to keep the computer happy for a while and upload them at home. I normally take my 80Gb ipod with me to work so I could potentially bring a lot of work units at once.
Is this still possible? I'm going back to the old days of seti spy here and...
Laptop is about a year old, its an inspiron 1720 and fitted with a 8600GTm. GPU grid has been getting computation errors but I had put that down to the core being overclocked too far. Will stick it back to stock and see what happens. I have quite a good cooling pad so the gpu temp sits in the...
and a final update, guy at work with admin rights has zipped up his bionic install and sent it accross but either one of us can get attached to projects thanks to our pesky work internet connection.
Any ideas for a workaround (proxy??).

I don't have admin rights so the normal BIONIC install wont work. I copied my BIONIC directory from home to a USB drive but it hasn't transfered properly.
Could someone please email me the files needed to get bionic working in a zipped folder please?

Many thanks...
I used to run SETI a few years back but packed it in as my machine was getting on a bit. My current laptop, while not the most powerful thing in the world (2Ghz C2D, 8600GT) seems quick enough, especially with this new fangled CUDA thingy, to actually run some DC projects.
Now the world has...
Not that much.
Assuming:
watched 4 hours of TV a day = 1.2KWH or so a day
light on in his room for 12 hours a day = 0.24kwh a day
had a 2kw oven on for 30 mins a day = 1kwh
gamed on his pc for 2 hours = 0.5kwh
time by 30 gives you about 88kwh, so about a tenner maybe...
I'm an electrical design engineer (or "proper" engineer by your logic) I couldn't care less who calls themselves an engineer. I enjoy my work as its very challenging, i get paid well for it, who cares about anyone else. Half the time I dont even use an email signature as some people are so...
