sounds to me like it could be a psu fault if your psu is breaking down maybe it can not provide enough power to boot up with a big wattage card maybe what psu do you have ?

na the on board works fine im on it right now ive just ordered a 670 should be here tomoz on sat delivery so ill update the thread then i have updated the bios so i think thats all good

yeah im using the on board gfx and its boots up fine

that would be ideal i know but no i dont im afraid could a gfx card problem stop the computer booting ? and could that psu blow up ruin the gfx card ?
